Mega Diş is a dental centre in Eyüpsultan, Istanbul, built around a holistic approach to oral and dental health. When we founded the practice we asked ourselves a single question: what would a clinic look like if patients did not dread coming to it? Everything we do today is built on the answer to that question.
Our Approach
Good dentistry begins with listening. We do not start any treatment before fully understanding the patient''s complaint, expectations and concerns. After examining you, we explain our findings in plain language and set out any alternative options together with their advantages and drawbacks.
The treatment plan, its timeline and its cost are agreed before work begins. There are no unexpected items or unexplained procedures halfway through. We regard your ability to make an informed decision about your own treatment not as a courtesy but as a fundamental part of clinical responsibility.
Another of our principles is conservatism. Wherever possible we preserve natural tooth structure. We do not recommend extraction while a tooth can still be saved, and we look for more conservative alternatives before reducing healthy teeth. This approach sometimes lengthens treatment, but it works in the patient''s favour over the long term.
What We Offer
Our clinic provides dental implants, aesthetic smile design, orthodontics, root canal treatment, treatment of gum disease, oral and maxillofacial surgery, teeth whitening and paediatric dentistry. This breadth means most cases can be completed under one roof, without patients being referred elsewhere for different stages of their treatment.
Complex cases are assessed jointly by our clinicians. When planning a smile design, for example, periodontology and orthodontics are considered around the same table where relevant — so treatment is planned as a whole rather than in fragments.
Technology and Sterilisation
We use digital imaging throughout the clinic. Digital radiography produces an image within seconds at a far lower radiation dose than conventional film, and that image can be reviewed with you during the same appointment. Three-dimensional CT imaging allows bone structure and anatomical relationships to be assessed to the millimetre, particularly when planning implants and surgery.
We do not compromise on sterilisation. Every instrument passes through a documented sterilisation cycle, and single-use materials are never reused under any circumstances. Because this is the area patients cannot see yet must trust most, we audit our processes regularly.
Patient Comfort
Dental anxiety is real, common and not something to be dismissed. For anxious patients we allow longer appointments, explain each step as we go and, where helpful, divide treatment into shorter sessions. Sedation options can be considered where needed.
With children, our priority is preserving their trust in the clinic rather than completing a particular procedure on a particular day. First appointments are planned around familiarisation, leaving room for the child to progress at their own pace.
International Patients
We regularly treat patients who live abroad and wish to complete their treatment in Turkey. For these patients we structure the plan around travel dates and carry out a preliminary assessment beforehand using photographs and any existing radiographs. This makes clear in advance which stages can realistically be completed during the stay.
Because we communicate in English, there is no language barrier during treatment; all information and consent discussions take place in a language the patient understands.
Our Location in Eyüpsultan
Our clinic is located in Eyüpsultan, Istanbul, in a position easily reached from the surrounding districts. Alongside patients living in Eyüp and its neighbourhoods, we welcome patients from across Istanbul and from outside the city. Weekend appointments are available for those who find weekday visits difficult around a demanding work schedule.
