Our clinic has installed a new digital X-ray system, replacing conventional film imaging across all our treatment rooms.
The new unit produces a diagnostic image within seconds and displays it immediately on screen, so we can discuss findings with you during the same appointment. Because digital sensors are far more sensitive than film, the radiation dose is reduced by up to ninety per cent compared with the older technique.
The system also allows us to store and compare images over time, which makes it much easier to spot small changes early — when they are still simple to treat.
